Texas Bound!

It's a little after 1 am and I have a flight at 7:20 to Austin, TX! I am just too excited to sleep! It will be nice to take a break from the hustle and bustle of the northeast. Plus, I need to go away for a little while so I'll actually want to come back in the fall!

This past weekend was spent enjoying the company of the many friends I have made in my first year or graduate school.

It Started with a Cinco de Mayo celebration! Although, this holiday is not widely accepted as a holiday up here. Nonetheless we celebrated!



I went out with my roommate to enjoy a night filled with music from the 90s. Then, Saturday afternoon, my roommate Cassie treated me to my first red sox game!! It sure is a nice perk that she is Theo Epstein's son's nanny!





Even though it rained, and the game was postponed by two hours, our seats were worth sitting in the rain!

My weekend ended with a fun party! I got to say my farewells to friends that are graduating and moving away as well as friends that I won't see for the rest of the summer. All in all, it was a lot of fun!

Now, I must get sleep!!! I leave soon!!!
