Spring Break is not close enough!

Having spring break a week later than I am normally used to is about to kill me! Granted, unless I teach after graduate school, spring break is something I should really stop looking forward to. But, I am thinking about getting my certification after I graduate BU. I know for those of you that know me well that it might be hard for you to imagine me as a teacher...with my short temper and easily-agitated attitude. However, the more mature I become and the more I over-analyze my life, I am realizing that teaching is something I really would like to be good at. And the schedule is very conducive to pursuing my singing career. AND, I know most of you will laugh when I say this--but, I'm starting to enjoy being around children...They can be SO creative and I am realizing that not only do they learn from adults, but we can learn so much from them.

Not to worry, this newly developed ease around children does not stem from any feeling of wanting one ANY TIME soon or even in a some what distant future.

Anyway, I am very excited about spring break coming up in another week and a half! I am definitely ready to return to Dallas for a few days. It will definitely be wonderful to enjoy some warm weather and see some familiar faces. Did I mention the warm weather? :)

I'm tired if crap like this.



For those of you that don't know, I am interviewing for an graduate assistantship. I am really keeping my fingers crossed because not only would it be a great experience, it would help out a lot! So, here's hoping!


Coco and I are missing Texas and missing Baylor this past week, especially since this time of year for the last 4 years has been filled with Baylor Sing! Proud of Tri Delta for placing 3rd!
