Winter Break Wrap-Up

Winter break has gone by faster than I could have ever imagined. I am returning to Boston a week from today...and I think I'm excited, maybe? I know that I am going to face extremely cold weather plus a lot more snow than I'm prepared to handle. But, at least it will be an experience...of some sort.

It has been so nice being in Texas. For most of the break, I was able to enjoy the 60-70 degree weather and lots of sunshine! The sun never seems to shine that much in Boston, so it was very nice to have the opportunity to enjoy it.

Over the last week, I spent my time in Austin at my mother's house. She and Richard just moved to Crystal Falls, a neighborhood right outside of Austin, close to Leander. It was nice to see some old friends from college and experience 6th street for only the second time ever.

Now, back to Dallas for the final week of my break. I will spend most of it with my dad and the end of the week with Andrew. I know the week will go by fast--but I wish it would slow down a little. Time flies when you're having fun, especially when you're with the ones you love.

However, it will be nice to see my Boston friends soon. And this semester will go by very quickly, I am sure of that. It will be much busier than the fall semester, and I am sure I will be thankful for that.
