Well, I finally have arrived back in Dallas as of Monday! It feels so wonderful to be back in nice weather and around really lovely people. I really do like Boston and the northeast, but home is home! And Texas is my home. I have missed my friends and family a lot--and I haven't seen my dad since August! That's the longest I've ever gone without seeing him. So, needless to say, it was quite wonderful to see him when he picked me up at the airport! I will be spending Christmas Eve with him and Christmas day with my mother and Richard. My grandparents will also be coming to Dallas for Christmas day, so it will be nice to see them, too.
This Sunday (12/26), I will be singing in both HPUMC Cox Chapel services at 8:30 and 11:00. I will be singing the Yon arrangement of "Gesu Bambino." If anyone is around the Dallas area for Christmas, I would love for you to attend!
Also, I am planning a recital in Dallas for mid-late May. Dates and more information will be posted soon!
