Back to hell, I mean, Dallas.

I returned from New Orleans last night around 8:45. And believe it or not--it is FAR hotter in Dallas than it is in New Orleans. I know that New Orleans is extremely humid. I am completely acknowledging that. However, Dallas is hotter AND humid. I wore jeans yesterday on the plane and when I got off the plane and walked to my car, I thought I was going to melt, literally.

Anyway, no matter. Today I dropped off my car to have it repaired from the small fender bender I got into a month ago. They're going to keep my car for almost three weeks! However, I can't complain due to the fact that my rental car is nicer than my actual car. (That's sad.) It took 45 minutes for the rental people to get their act together. I had to wait 45 minutes. Needless to say, my father and I were not happy--it put me at work 3 hours late.

The most disgusting thing happened to me on Saturday night. I was at Harrah's with Andrew in New Orleans and some guy about my age, not bad looking, SPIT dip on the back of my left arm. This has NEVER happened to me before. Needless to say, he was more mortified than I was. Oh well. He shouldn't have been spitting on the floor in Harrah's to begin with! Serves him right.

Andrew attempted to move into his apartment this weekend. We got there on Sunday afternoon and I decided I wanted to take another shower--the dip thing was really grossing me out. I turned on the faucet and was engulfed by a horrible stench. Sulfer. You gotta love the smell of sulfter. You know what I'm talking about--rotten eggs. REALLY rotten eggs. We both became so light headed that we ended up running errands the rest of the day and he stayed in a hotel for the night.

Oh well, all in all, it was a great weekend. I got some rest and got to spend a lot of quality time with Andrew, which was nice. He comes back home on Thursday night--I can't wait to spend three days with him. He needs a break.
